At the head of 2.000 cyclists, rode Ambassador of Denmark, Lars Steen Nielsen, Santiago Mayor, Pablo Zalaquett, and the director of Chile’s Bicycle Festival Amarilis Horta. The Bicycle Festival is now organized in its fifth year by a large number of cyclist associations, and this year Denmark’s example is the recurrent theme.
Mayor Zalaquett took the opportunity to publish a decision about funding the extension of the bike path network with five kilometers of bike paths in the municipality next year and also expressed the desire to visit Copenhagen, to study the city’s cycling experience more closely
